ESCOP – ECOP – CSREES Partnership Task Force

This web site contains information pertaining to the planning, background documentation, and results from a workshop for Directors of AES and CES with staff and administrators from USDA – CSREES held in Baltimore, MD on February 13 – 14, 2001.  This activity resulted from a desire to strengthen the partnership between the land-grant system and CSREES.

The purpose of the workshop was to increase the effectiveness of the partnership among CES, AES and CSREES.

The outcomes were: 

  • Feedback on a proposed purpose, principles for and functions of the partnership
  • Feedback on suggested contributions/roles and constraints of each of the groups in acting as partners
  • Identification of nine priority actions which the partners can take to address major issues limiting the effectiveness of the partnership
